With an increasing number of EdTech companies entering the learning space, ChicagoInno took time out in a recent piece to discuss how the many new additions shift and change the education landscape. Luke Shephard, CTO of Chicago-startup eSpark Learning, noted that while well known players in the industry still have a significant footing, smaller companies are also changing student interaction with technology in the classroom.
Eileen Murphy, founder of ThinkCERCA commented:
"For a long time we had tech in computer labs…but didn't make tech for teachers to teach with," she pointed out. "You have to build technology that works for schools as well as students and teachers."
