We're Cooking Up Something New: More Math Literacy Lessons!

Written by Claire Podulka | January 19, 2016

We've been hearing great feedback from teachers on our new math content--mostly, that you want more! This week we've added a new differentiated set of math applied writing lessons and another Minilesson to introduce a key math concept.

Cooking: Why is math important to cooking? In these lessons, students read real-world examples of people using math to solve problems in cooking. Then they use their math knowledge and reasoning to analyze whether the people in the problem solved the problem correctly. View lessons >>

Analyzing Math Sentences Introduce your students to the process of analyzing math sentences that they will practice in the new Cooking set. Choose the right level for your students: Grades 3-5 or Grades 6-12.
