Longer Works are here!
Why Volume Reading in the 21st Century?
1. Reading more helps students develop a deeper base of vocabulary and knowledge, so volume reading supports additional time on task.
2. Post-secondary learning demands longer works, so developing the stamina and understanding of these text structures supports College and Career Readiness.
3. Life-long learners enjoy longer works of fiction and nonfiction as a pastime and a way to connect and engage with others.
