After collaborating with you, our valued partners, we're thrilled to unveil our newly enhanced Library experience, which is the result of extensive user testing.
When you first log in, you’ll see four tabs: Core ELAR, ThinkCERCA, Direct Instruction, and Skills Practice, and Browse. Let's break each one down.
Core ELAR
Thinkcerca’s platform provides a Core ELAR Program for grades 6-12 and a supplemental literacy curriculum for grades 3-12 across English, Social Studies, Science, and Math with a strong focus on rigorous close reading and writing across content areas to provide a common language, analytics, and approach across the district. ThinkCERCA
On this tab, you'll have access to the ThinkCERCA platform you know and love. The ThinkCERCA Library re-design is broken down into the following sections: Lesson Spotlight, Additional Reading Practice, Theme Collection, and Custom Lessons.
- Lesson Spotlight: Featured thematic modules. Choose a Writing Module to see differentiated lessons grouped by topic.
- Additional Reading Practice: Comprehension checks, and discussion questions in under 15 minutes!
- Theme Collection: select a Theme, then choose a Writing Module to see differentiated lessons grouped by topic.
- Custom Lessons: Did you know that you can create your own Close Reading & Writing Lessons in ThinkCERCA? See how it works.
Direct Instruction and Skills Practice
Direct Instruction Lessons allow teachers to introduce key skills and concepts. Each core lesson has a Direct instruction lesson paired with it.
Browse
Using our Browse feature, you can filter by grade and search using keywords to easily search through hundreds of Writing Lessons, Reading Practice, Direct Instruction, and Skills lessons.
