We're excited to share a new differentiated set of English Language Arts lessons this week, aligned to Common Core and focused on poetry.

Sounds in Poetry: How do poets use the sounds of words to convey themes? These lessons give students practice identifying and analyzing the use of sonic techniques including rhyme, meter, and alliteration. Students also have the opportunity to enjoy poems by Edgar Allen Poe, Emily Dickinson, Paul Laurence Dunbar, and Lewis Carroll, among other well-known poets. View lessons >>
